I have lived in Spain twice, the last time completing my MBA in Madrid. My favorite place to visit in Spain is San Sebastián, which is in the north of the country. It is the quintessential city beach where one can discover incredible new culinary experiences. I have also done parts of the storied Camino de Santiago, a centuries-old pilgrimage that ends in Santiago de Compostela.
Entrepreneurship runs in my family. My grandfather started a car dealership decades ago in the then-rural town of Riverhead. Now, Riverhead is a major shopping destination in the East End of Long Island. Many conversations with friends and customers about their frustrations with the car-buying experience led to the creation of ARC Test Drive.
I own a 1975 Bricklin and have slowly been restoring it over time. The Bricklin is similar to the Back to the Future DeLorean DMC-12 but unique in that only a limited number of them were made. I enjoy learning as much as I can about the production of the car and meeting fellow Bricklin owners.
As an avid sports player and fan, this quote by Lou Gehrig ("Today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth”) encompasses my outlook on life: to be optimistic and grateful even in the face of hardship.
